A name this town has trusted for more than 21 years.
For more than 21 years Scott has been the person Jenks calls when pests show up. Neighbors, families and local businesses know him by name, and that name is what this company was built on.
It is still a family owned and operated business, and the way of working has never changed: look closely, explain plainly, treat the cause, and never tie a customer to a long term contract.

Different pests need different thinking. Pick the one you are dealing with to see the signs, where it hides and how we approach it.

Tiny pests with itchy consequences. We deal with the home and yard side of the problem.
Learn moreHornet and wasp control
Nests that grow all season and defend themselves. A job for a professional, not a broom.
Learn moreRodent control
Mice and rats chew, contaminate and breed fast. We deal with the activity and the way in.
Learn moreSpider control
Webs, egg sacs and a steady supply of prey. We address the spiders and what draws them in.
Learn moreTicks, moths, silverfish, scorpions, crickets, moles and gophers.
General pest control covers more than the six pests above, including moles and gophers. Not sure what you have? Describe it and we will tell you.
Find the cause. Treat it. Keep it from coming back.
A pest you can see is only part of the story. The visit starts with listening and looking.
Look inside and out
We start with what you are seeing and where, then walk the property to find activity, what is drawing pests and how they get in.
A plan for your property
The right plan depends on the pest and the building. We explain what we found and what we recommend before any work starts.
Targeted treatment
We treat entry points, hiding places and nesting areas, aimed at where activity starts rather than where it shows.
Follow up and prevent
We check back when it makes sense and point out the gaps, leaks and habits that invite pests back, so the fix lasts.

Know what you are looking at.
A quick reference for six of the pests we handle: what they leave behind and where they like to hide.
Ants
Ants rarely arrive alone. The ones you see are foragers; the colony is somewhere you can't see. Tell us where you find them and we will work out where they come from.
Signs to look for
- Steady trails along baseboards, counters, window sills or pipes
- Small soil mounds along the foundation, patios or driveways
- Fine sawdust-like debris near wood trim, a possible carpenter ant sign
- Winged ants indoors, which can point to a mature nest nearby
Where they hide
- Kitchens and pantries, near crumbs and sweet spills
- Bathrooms and around leaking pipes
- Wall voids, under flooring and behind trim
- Mulch beds, wood piles and soil against the house
Cockroaches
Cockroaches are tough, nocturnal and quick to multiply. A sighting in daylight often means more are out of sight.
Signs to look for
- Droppings that look like coffee grounds or black pepper
- Brown, capsule-shaped egg cases
- A musty, oily odor in closed cupboards
- Sightings at night when you switch the light on
Where they hide
- Behind and under refrigerators, stoves and dishwashers
- Under sinks and around plumbing gaps
- Cardboard boxes and clutter
- Warm, humid cabinets near appliances
Fleas and mites
Fleas and mites are tiny, which is why the first sign is usually the itch, not the insect.
Signs to look for
- Itchy red bites, often around ankles and lower legs (fleas)
- Pets scratching, or black specks like pepper in their coat or bedding (flea dirt)
- Bites with no obvious cause after birds or rodents have left a nearby nest (some mites)
- Tiny moving specks on pale carpet or socks after walking through an affected area
Where they hide
- Carpet, rugs and upholstered furniture
- Pet bedding and the spots pets rest
- Cracks in flooring and baseboards
- Shaded yard areas where pets spend time
Hornets and wasps
Wasp and hornet nests grow through the season, and the insects defend them hard. This is one to leave to a professional.
Signs to look for
- A papery grey or tan nest under eaves, in attics, trees or shrubs
- Constant flight traffic to one small opening
- Wasps entering gaps in siding, soffits or wall voids
- A hole in the ground with insects coming and going
Where they hide
- Under roof eaves, porch ceilings and deck rails
- Sheds, attics and wall voids
- Trees, hedges and utility boxes
- Holes in lawns and banks
Rodents
Mice and rats chew insulation and wiring, contaminate food and breed fast. Removing them is half the job; closing the way in is the other half.
Signs to look for
- Droppings along walls, in drawers and behind appliances
- Gnaw marks on packaging, wood or wiring
- Scratching or scurrying in walls and ceilings at night
- Greasy rub marks along baseboards
Where they hide
- Attics, crawl spaces and wall voids
- Garages and storage rooms
- Behind stoves and refrigerators
- Cluttered corners with cardboard and fabric
Spiders
Most house spiders are harmless and even eat other pests. If you are seeing a lot of them, or are unsure what you have, it is worth a closer look.
Signs to look for
- Webs in corners, eaves, basements and window frames
- Egg sacs tucked into quiet corners
- Frequent sightings in the same room
- Lots of other insects nearby, which spiders feed on
Where they hide
- Basements, garages and crawl spaces
- Window wells and eaves
- Boxes, shoes and stored clothing
- Sheds, woodpiles and outdoor furniture
